About the Job
The Product Manager will be responsible for maintaining a deep understanding of user needs, identifying and prioritising customer feedback, and driving product feature initiatives to meet those needs.
This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, user-centred design thinking, and project management skills. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and launch innovative care management software solutions.
The role and your responsibilities
Maintain detailed understanding of current and future user needs:
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and user requirements.
- Conduct user research, analyse data, and gather insights to inform product decisions.
Identify and triage customer feedback:
- Gather and evaluate customer feedback, prioritising issues and feature requests.
- Collaborate with customer success and sales teams to ensure timely resolution of customer requirements.
Identify, research, and document product initiatives:
- Define problem statements, user stories, and requirements for new product features.
- Conduct market and competitive research to identify opportunities for product enhancements.
Manage and prioritise Roadmap/Backlog:
- Take ownership of the end-to-end lifecycle of new product features
- Develop and maintain a roadmap for product features.
- Prioritise features based on strategic objectives, user needs, and business goals.
Work with product, design, and development teams to own design and specification of product initiatives:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create user flows and design specifications.
- Provide clear documentation to enable estimation for practice and technical development efforts.
Oversee user testing:
- Coordinate user testing activities to gather feedback and validate product concepts.
- Analyse test results and iterate on product designs based on user insights.
Oversee product releases:
- Coordinate with development, marketing, and sales teams to plan and execute successful product releases.
- Ensure seamless integration of new features into the product ecosystem.
Support content creation:
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop marketing materials and messaging for product releases.
- Provide support to Product Marketing Manager in creation of sales enablement resources and product demonstrations.
- Assist in the development of training materials and provide support to customers.
Work with Product Marketing Manager on release plan and customer communications:
- Collaborate to create a release plan and communicate product updates to customers.
- Ensure effective communication of product value proposition and benefits.
Review and communicate updates and success of product initiatives:
- Regularly review and report on the progress and success of product initiatives.
- Communicate updates to internal and external stakeholders, highlighting achievements and key metrics.
Required experience
- At least 3 years proven experience in product management or related roles, preferably in the healthcare or SAAS industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Experience with user-centred design principles and methodologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of data management and analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Results-oriented mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
