I'm a product designer with 15 years of experience in the tech industry. My background includes working with start-ups, scale-ups, and innovation hubs on a diverse range of projects, from quotation and drawing tools to bathroom design and ad protection platforms. The genuinely interesting problem space at Nourish is what initially drew me to this opportunity. On a personal note, as a carer for a wonderful 12-year-old girl who has health challenges, I also felt a strong connection to Nourish's mission.

Here are three fun facts about me:

• When I was younger, I appeared in a TV advertisement for a music channel that aired hourly. At the time, I bore a strong resemblance to Enrique Iglesias – so much so that when I entered the common room in sixth form, people would often start singing "Hero." For the record, I no longer look like him! and no one sings when I enter a room anymore.
• Last year, I competed in my first Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competition and won silver. I've been practicing BJJ for three years now, albeit somewhat reluctantly, as I still haven't fully warmed up to it but do it as a genuine challenge.
• I'm a very enthusiastic cook and am currently obsessed with perfecting New York cheesecakes and experimenting with food fermentation, particularly hot sauces.
