I’m Abi, a full-stack software engineer and tech lead joining the Nourish team. I’ve worked across organisations, primarily in the Defence sector, where I’ve implemented and have led engineering teams in building secure, scalable applications that optimise & improve decision-making and business workflows. I love creating tools and products that are purposeful, intuitive, and creative - especially when there’s an opportunity to bring in emerging tech.

What drew me to Nourish was the mission and the desire to use technology to make a real difference in people’s lives. I care deeply about others and feel most fulfilled when my skills and work contribute to meaningful change. I’m excited to be part of a team that values both innovation and wellbeing, and I thrive in environments like this: where engineers are encouraged to learn, grow, and build with purpose.

Fun facts about me:

I studied biomedicine before becoming an engineer. I’ve been self-taught from day one and find human code just as fascinating as machine code!

I’m also a vocalist and love making music. I especially like building vocal harmonies and melodies over beats.

I’m a big reader and can happily zone in and read a book for hours! I’d say my favourite genres aren’t really small-talk friendly, but I love chatting with like-minded people who enjoy deeper topics.
