Head of Release Management – ProductI’m originally from São Paulo, Brazil, where I graduated in Computer Science and began my career in IT. In 2005, I moved to California for what was meant to be a 3-month work assignment—but I ended up staying for 9 years. While in the US, I studied Project Management at UC Berkeley, where I met some of my closest friends (including a few fellow Brazilians I might never have met back home).
In 2013, a new job opportunity brought me to the UK—and with it, a whole new way of working using Agile. Since then, I’ve continued to grow professionally, always looking for ways to deliver better outcomes through tech and teamwork.
Although I’ve been working in software delivery for over 20 years, joining Nourish represents a meaningful shift for me—it’s the first time I’ll be contributing to a product that has a direct and positive impact on people’s lives.
With my grandmother currently in a care home, I’ve seen first-hand how a platform like Nourish could play a vital role in improving the quality and coordination of her care.
A little bit more about me:
- I used to have a habit of saying “yes” to wild adventures—like hiking Half Dome in Yosemite without knowing what it was, scuba diving in France without taking lessons, and learning to snowboard by being dropped at the top of a mountain. These days, I prefer to stick to Pilates!
- I go through intense food phases—there was a truffle era, a speculoos phase, and right now I’m deep in a Dubai-style chocolate obsession.
- I've loved animals since childhood—so much that I gave up birthday and Christmas gifts for two years just to convince my parents to get me a dog! They finally did when I was 10, and Luke quickly became part of the family. Since then, I’ve adopted more pets, including a cat and a dog I brought with me from the US to the UK in 2013. I promised I’d stop after they passed… but last year, Martin, a 2-year-old Chihuahua, stole my heart!
