Our Purpose: A Better Life for Everyone
Nourish is not simply a technology company; we are a digital partner for the social and health care sector rooted in human connections, with the person being supported at its core. We offer a range of co-produced software solutions tailored to the unique challenges of care, while still being flexible enough to meet the specific needs of each individual service we work with.
We are at an exciting stage of growth. While we are the market leader, we remain ambitious and dedicated to our mission. We continue to revolutionise the sector by investing in our platform and our incredible employees who make this impact possible.
Our Ecosystem
At Nourish, you will contribute to a sophisticated ecosystem that includes:
Technology that impacts a million people every day: Our core products are used by over 425,000 carers to support 417,000+ individuals
The Nourish Partnership Programme (NPP): A sector-leading programme that manages strategic integrations with third-party systems to ensure seamless data syncing and interoperability across the care journey.
Our Culture & Values
We look for people who align with the way we work. If you join us, you are joining a culture defined by:
Making a Difference: We remember who we serve. We are passionate about making a meaningful, positive impact on the lives of carers and those we support
Agility: We continuously refine and adapt. There is no room for complacency here; we are driven to constantly review and improve our products and processes.
Collective Effort: We help each other out because we know that when one person wins, we all win. It’s "all hands-on deck" - everyone is in it together.
Every Person Counts: We treat everyone as a very significant part of our community. We welcome people being their true and authentic selves and value the diverse perspectives they bring.
Openness to Learning: We believe no question is a silly question and all insights are valuable. Mistakes are part of the improvement process; we dust ourselves off and begin again.
The Team & Role
We are looking for an exceptional, seasoned product leader to join our Product Leadership Team. This role is far more than a traditional product management position; it is the vital link between our product strategy, deep customer insight, and thought leadership in a critical segment of the social care market. You will be responsible for a major segment of our product portfolio and the mentorship of a team of Product Managers.
Crucially, beyond traditional product management requirements, you will become the domain expert and thought leader for a specific care type within the business, shaping not just our products but our entire commercial, marketing, and market-facing strategy for our products within that domain.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for a leader with world-class product taste, judgment, boundless curiosity, and the drive to make a difference in a sector that makes a real difference in peoples’ lives every day.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Execution (The "Product" Responsibilities)
Portfolio Ownership: Own the product vision, strategy and roadmap for a defined subset of the company's product portfolio, ensuring alignment with the overall company vision and desired business outcomes.
Team Empowerment: Directly manage, coach, and mentor a team of high-performing Product Managers, fostering a culture of curiosity, rapid learning, and outcome-oriented delivery consistent with a product operating model.
Product Taste & Judgment: Provide rigorous product leadership, ensuring the highest standards of product quality, user experience, and technical integrity are met across your portfolio.
Outcome Focus: Define and track key business and product outcomes, ensuring product teams are empowered to discover and deliver solutions that measurably move those metrics.
Lifecycle Management: Support the product development lifecycle from concept through launch, ensuring timely delivery. Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing leadership along with commercial teams to ensure speed, continuity, and success throughout the full lifecycle.
Impact Tracking & Articulation: Define the metrics, create a robust tracking system, and own the narrative of product impact for the business, our customers, and for better outcomes of those we ultimately serve, those that require some additional support to live their best lives.
Domain Expertise & Thought Leadership (The "Domain" Responsibilities)
Customer & Market Insight: Rapidly develop a deep, expert understanding of the operational, regulatory, and commercial challenges faced by our customers within your specific care domain.
Internal Domain Voice: Act as the primary internal authority on your care domain, advising business leadership on market trends, competitive landscape, and strategic opportunities.
External Thought Leadership: Build a compelling external voice for the company in your domain. This includes speaking at industry events, publishing insights, and engaging directly with key industry stakeholders and customers to influence and shape the market perception of our company.
Go-to-Market Alignment: Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Account Management, Customer Success, and Professional Services to translate deep domain understanding into compelling value propositions, effective sales enablement, streamlined onboarding programmes, and successful market entry strategies.
Industry Partnership & Content: Partner with key industry bodies and care experts to co-create high value, endorsed best practice care content for the platform supporting user engagement and trust.
Requirements
Seasoned Product Leadership: Thorough background in complex B2B SaaS product management environments, with significant experience managing a product portfolio and mentoring product managers.
Strategic Vision & Alignment: Demonstrable ability to articulate a clear, compelling long-term product vision & strategy and effectively drive organisational alignment toward those strategic principles and outcomes.
World-Class Product Judgment: A proven track record of making difficult trade-offs, demonstrating exceptional product taste, and achieving significant business outcomes.
A Growth Mindset: While specific domain knowledge in UK social care is not required (although a plus), an intense curiosity, a genuine desire to learn from customers, and the ability to quickly develop deep, defensible expertise in a new, complex sector are critical.
Thought Leadership Potential: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the capacity to craft and articulate a compelling, differentiated narrative on sector challenges.
Operating Model Alignment: Deep familiarity with modern product practices, including product discovery, continuous delivery, and the principles of empowered product teams.
Sector Interest: A genuine interest in the UK social care sector and how technology can improve interoperability.
Mindset: A pragmatic, collaborative, and warm approach to problem-solving.
